AIS Fleet Agent Data License

Effective: August 7, 2026

This license applies to each paid position or vessel-photo response you obtain from AIS Fleet. It is an agreement between you and Saillogger LLC, the operator of AIS Fleet. By purchasing or using a response, you accept this license.

1. Position responses

You may use a purchased position response for vessel identification, research, analysis, planning, and a contextual result delivered to a user. You may retain it as reasonably needed for that task or an associated audit record. You may not sell or redistribute the raw response, use repeated responses to create a competing vessel-position database, or use stored responses to evade per-response charges.

A reported position and its timestamp can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. It is informational only. Never use it for navigation, collision avoidance, search and rescue, an emergency, or any decision where life, safety, or property depends on accuracy.

2. Vessel-photo responses

You may display a purchased watermarked vessel photo in a result whose purpose is to identify, describe, compare, or provide context about the depicted vessel. A delivered result may remain available to its intended recipient.

You may not:

• remove, crop out, cover, or obscure the AIS Fleet watermark or photographer credit;
• offer the photo as a standalone download, stock image, photo-library asset, or raw API response;
• use it in unrelated advertising, promotion, or editorial content; or
• assemble purchased photos into a competing photo catalog or dataset.

3. General conditions

This license is non-exclusive, non-transferable except as part of a permitted delivered result, and limited to the response purchased. AIS Fleet and its licensors retain all other rights. You may not misrepresent a response, imply that AIS Fleet endorses you, bypass access controls or usage limits, or use the service unlawfully.

Responses are provided “as is” and may become stale immediately. To the extent the law allows, Saillogger LLC disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss. Our total responsibility relating to a response will not exceed the amount you paid for that response. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

4. Changes and contact

The version presented when you purchase a response governs that purchase. We may publish a later version for future purchases. Washington State law governs this license, subject to rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
